Dr. Mohamed Azzam is a Senior Advisor on Innovation and Digital Transformation, serving as a Visiting Professor and a member of the International Association for Management of Technology (IAMOT). He has been appointed to the Digital Culture Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, as well as the National Committee for Digital Sector Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). Additionally, he is part of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the Arab Council for Social Responsibility (ACSR). Dr. Azzam is also the President of the Nile University Alumni Association, a member of Nile University’s Advisory Board, and a member of the Center of Excellence for Inclusive Design and Assistive Technology. He previously served as the Executive Director for the Digital Economy and Technology Public Division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
With over 30 years of experience across diverse fields, including ICT (Information and Communications Technology), management, and corporate development (particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises – SMEs), Mr. Azzam has been entrusted with roles both locally and internationally. His expertise spans a wide range of business sectors and industries, including ICT, education, consumer goods, maritime and land transportation, automotive, healthcare, oil and gas, tourism, environment, public services, construction, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, and retail.
